Objectives
Using the basic chemistry and fundamental principles of organic chemistry of the first year, the student must get
acquinted with the more specialised organic structure analysing, as well practical as theoretical, knowledge which is indispensable for achemist. The most important objective of the practical part is to obtain the necessary skills to work with the more advanced lab- machinary, current in nowerdays organic laboratory and to develope the necasary handiness to controll well known org. techniques.

Topics
- Structure analysis
- Additional practice on organic synthesis
- Additional practice on chromatography, electrophoresis and gas-chromatography
- Mass spectrometry and MS as a gas-chromatographic detector
- Adsorption of Ultra Violet by conjugated bounds: organic pigments, the UV spectrophotometer and UV analysis
- The Infra Red spectrometer and IR analysis
- Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and NMR-analysis: the scanner
- Practice ans structure analysis
