Objectives
Be able to add a graphical user interface to an application on Windows or Unix.

Topics
Explanation of specific programming technics used in the development of GUI's: windows, forms, controls, events, menus, widgets,...
In the first semester we get familiar with Visual Basic, while in the second semester the stress is on Java Swing.

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of informatics as taught in the candidate years (functions and proce arays, strings, files)
