Improving the productivity of the contractor. Management basics are: Plan
and study of the specific construction works and methods, follow-up of the
works, cost efficiency and human affairs.



Topics
1) Preparation of the construction
The available construction methods for future site supervisors, and an
analysis of the chronological activities involved in the construction of a
building
2) Planning and planning techniques
The main planning techniques and their advantages. The main techniques are:
PERT-CPM, PDM, GANTT-charts, rafter lay-out and balance lines.
3) Implantation of the building site.
A substantial part: the key elements and practical tips of a proper site
set-up.
4) Organisation of the works
Description of the site supervisor's task in general, in particular the
organisation of the works in progress: leading the workers, an efficient use
of machinery and timely ordering the building materials and executive
facilities
