Objectives
The aim of the course is to learn the students the basic principles of electricity. The student has to apply his theoretical knowledge in theoretical and practical exercises, measurements of electric circuits.

Topics
Theoretical electricity: DC and AC :current, voltage, power, energy, resistors, sources, circuit analyses, magnetism, electromagnetism, induction, capacity, sine waves, phase relations, response of resistors, inductors and capacitys.
Practical electricity: methods of electrical connections, relays and timers, switches, regulation concerning protection against current supply and electric shocks.
Technology:Materials used in electricity
Measurement:Measuring and calculation of passive components (R-L-C), voltage, current, power.
Properties of measuring equipments and methods.

Prerequisites
A mathematical basis is required.
