Objectives
Systematic integration of language structures.
The student learns technical vocabulary (Business English), general vocabulary and economic terminology, and learns to use it.
The student develops elementary written and oral communication skills for business English.
The student learns to consult simple types of professional literature and understand its contents; the student learns to make information available through a critical attitude and the ability to express oneself clearly.
The student is able to attend to an oral presentation; distinguish between essentials and side issues; formulate questions.
The student is willing to communicate.

Co-operative forms: question and answer; in-class discussion of exercises: exercises are discussed and corrected with the whole group, but attention is paid to individual problems.
Some exercises come with a keyimprovisation, role play, group work, discussions, presentations.

Assessment
First exam session: 30 % permanent assessment and 70 % written exam
