Objectives The students get a view on several aspects of communication and interaction especially in the cliënt assistance - context in both groupwork as in counselling.
they practice and develop basic skills in these various areas.
Systemic approach:
The student are given a short summary of the different meanings within the systemic approach.
They deepen their opinion in the basics of the systemic approach and can practice them on cases and exercises.
They develop a view on the possibilities of the systemic approach for their work.
Counselling:
The students should be able to give proof of a deeper understanding of the skills and attitudes as a counsellor and acquire these capacities.

Groupwork:
Students get an insight in aspects as: types of groups, cultures of groups, structures, conflictmanagement, ...
Starting from a specific assignment they develop basic skills.
Prerequisites Knowledge of basic aspects as seen in the first year.
Topics Systemic approach:
Notions from several directions within this approach practised in specific contexts of work (for example some notions of the contextual perspective among witch the 4 dimensions, loyality, ...)
Specific subjects: inside-outside-opposite side, differences, correspondences and conflicts; circularity and context, social representation, ...
Counselling:
A study of basic conversational techniques.
A study of basic communication patterns.
Groupwork:
Specific theoretical and technical topics:
- types of groups
- fases
- culture of groups

- decision making
- negociating
- managing groups
