Objectives
Today, everbody uses psychological concepts. Unfortunately this also means that these concepts don't make much sense any longer. So rhe first aim is to restore some of the fundamental concepts of psychology in their original rather limited sense effectivity.
First of all this should contribute to the general cultural education.
Secondly it lays the foundations for the applications of psychology in other courses like "Human Resource Managment." (second year)

Definition of psychology compared with other human "sciences".
First review of the most important schools of psychological thought : behaviourism, genetical psychology, Gestaltpsychology, humanistic psychology, social psychologie, and also a confrontation with psychiatric thinking.
Freudian psychoanalysis allows a critical judgement of all these psychological schools. In psychoanalysis the emphasis is on the importance of language for the constitution of "man" and his "soul".
