The students are given a practical base to
- use qualities and properties of abstract forms, shapes and basic design elements in abstract form exercises
- space design
- apply colour in 2D and 3D compositions and to use them in outdoor spaces
- know basic methods and apply several materials in both abstract academic studies and in spatial designs
- use and make scale models in order to illustrate spatial design
- use typical techniques
- to know and use several materials and use them in their appropriate way

Forms and their genesis: their conception such as to pack,...
Principles of composition such as symmetry, measure, space, time, ...
Forms and their function: collection, coherention, repetition, ...
Primary design elements such as to meet, pierce, associate, distinct, ...
Chromatics: blinding colours, colour scheme, colour in 2D and 3D compositions
2D to 3D transformation: division and proportion, measure, scale and eye-level, space and proportion, relation volume and open space, abstraction, form unity, unity in materials, several kinds of scale-models
